Dr. Pamela Thornton, B.Sc., ND.
Wellness & Team Director, Owner

Pamela earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in human biology. She then graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine's four-year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program in 1998. Pamela has served on the boards of both the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Doctors.

She completed her Therapeutic Prescribing exam in 2016 to add the controlled act of prescribing to her clinical tool box.  She followed this by becoming a Graduate of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Essential Elements of Prescription Hormone Compounding.  The addition of bio-identical hormones has vastly expanded Pamela’s ability to untangle the complex endocrine web that so many women find themselves entangle in.

Pamela is an integrative practitioner and passionate leader in the field of women’s hormonal health issues and fertility.  She does many public lectures on topics of integrative medicine and alternative approaches to health. With over 21-years of clinical experience, Pamela believes that what it takes to be well is not merely the absence of disease but rather a balance of physical, emotional and spiritual health.  As a result, she has also continued her wellness journey becoming a HeartMath certified practitioner and a Hoffman Process International graduate.

As a mother of three children, Pamela is keenly interested in the health and wellness of women and children and our planet and in building community resources to make education and collaboration available to everyone who seeks it.

Pamela is known for her keen listening skills and her ability to see the whole picture when creating a wellness plan.  Born and raised in Woodstock, she is delighted to be joining Tiffany and Ashley in bringing the WOMB to our community.

She and her husband both grew up in Woodstock and love being a part of a connected community.  In her spare time she still manages to teach a few step dance classes which has always been a strong passion of hers.

With her already strong connection to the community, her role at The WOMB Woodstock will include creating partnerships with relevant businesses and practitioners, and to create a sense of warmth and community in and outside of the centre.  She is thrilled to be aligning with both Dr. Pamela Thornton and Ashley Hamilton and the skills they contribute to provide essential services to Oxford County.

Ashley Hamilton
Digital & Operations Director, Owner

Ashley Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Commerce and has spent her career in design and marketing, for the first half in the fashion industry and more recently in e-commerce.  The past 8 years she has been working as a user experience designer, studying how users interact with digital experiences and using data to design and optimize online stores for conversion.

She has been involved in a number of small businesses and start ups and loves the hustle of a startup.  She is passionate about laying the foundation for growth, and using technology to optimize processes and operations.

Her own experience becoming a mother; she is expecting her second child later this year, led her to recognize gaps in service in the Woodstock area, and have driven her to want to make these services available to all women.

She will bring this professional and personal experience into her role at The WOMB as the Digital and Operations Director.  In addition, she will lead the marketing efforts for the company through design and strategy.  She is eager to work alongside Tiffany and Pam and see women taking care of, educating and empowering themselves through the services offered at The WOMB, and the community benefit from new and exciting employment and career advancement opportunities.
