Hendrike Isert Bender MSW, RSW, Registered Social Worker

Hendrike is a registered Social Worker with 20+ years of therapeutic experience. She is a wife and mother of 4 children and has a passion for the complexity of life.

As a therapist she cares about the wellbeing of the whole family and therefore offers counselling and support to individuals of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors.

Hendrike has a special interest in maternal mental health and training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She hopes to support, guide and skillfully find the appropriate therapeutic approach to address the emotional challenges of parenthood. She is deeply aware that not every woman who wants to become a mother will do so with ease. This stage in life can hold much pain and loss. Hendrike wants to hold space for families experiencing infertility, pregnancy or infant loss.

As a client centered therapist she uses a variety of evidence based frameworks and will work with finding the best approach for each client. Hendrike offers cognitive, behavioural, spiritual and mindfulness strategies for many of the presenting concerns.

She offers individual and couples therapy as well as psycho-educational and therapeutic groups.

Hendrike has a Masters in Social Work and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Denisa Suteu, RSW Registered Social Worker

Denisa Suteu is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work Degree who is passionate about supporting individuals through the complexities of the perinatal period and parenthood. As a mother herself, Denisa understands both the beauty and challenges that can arise throughout pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, reproductive loss, and the transition into parenthood.

Denisa has completed specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health, Infertility, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Perinatal Mental Health, Loss and Reproductive Technologies, and Bereavement After a Pregnancy Loss. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Trauma-Informed approaches to provide compassionate, client-centred care tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and needs.

Prior to her clinical work, Denisa taught social work and psychology courses and supported research focused on perinatal wellbeing and infant and child mental health. Through these experiences, she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between caregiver mental health, attachment, bonding, and infant development. She is especially passionate about supporting caregivers in being compassionate with themselves while navigating the beauty, overwhelm, and identity changes that often accompany parenthood.

Isabella Fawcett, Registered Psychotherapist

Izzy is a Registered Psychotherapist who offers thoughtful, compassionate support to individuals and couples navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and relationship challenges. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through safety, curiosity, and connection; both within ourselves and in our relationships.

Izzy integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) into her work, supporting clients in gently processing past experiences, understanding emotional patterns, and building greater self-compassion. She approaches therapy with deep respect for each person’s lived experience, helping clients reconnect with their inner resources and move forward in ways that feel authentic and empowering.

In her work with couples, Izzy draws on her Gottman Method training, supporting partners in strengthening communication, deepening emotional connection, and navigating conflict with greater understanding and care. She works collaboratively with couples to explore relational patterns, foster emotional safety, and build tools that support long-term connection.

Izzy’s approach is warm, grounded, and client-centred. She is especially mindful of creating a space where people feel truly seen and supported, whether they are processing past trauma, navigating the complexities of relationships, or finding their footing during seasons of change. Izzy believes therapy is not about “fixing” what’s broken, but about understanding yourself more deeply and building a relationship with yourself and others that feels more aligned, compassionate, and sustainable.

Izzy is currently off with her new baby.
