Julia Anne MacPherson R.Ac., Acupuncturist
Meet Julia MacPherson, R.Ac, whose path into healing blends precision, resilience, and a deep passion for helping others feel their best. With over two decades of experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager and owner of MEG Consulting & Project Management Inc., Julia understands the importance of strong foundations, thoughtful care, and seeing the bigger picture. In 2014, her journey took a new direction as she began exploring the healing arts through the study of astrology and energy work in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a lifelong calling.
Over the years, Julia has pursued extensive training in a variety of holistic therapies, becoming a Usui Reiki Practitioner in 2017 before traveling to Glastonbury, England in 2019 to study under William Rand and complete her Holy Fire® Reiki Master training. She later expanded her practice through certifications in Cupping Therapy and Reflexology, earning the RCRT designation with the Reflexology Association of Canada.
In 2020, Julia began her most rigorous training yet in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Even after relocating to Grand Cayman in 2021, she continued balancing large-scale project management work with intensive TCM studies before returning to Nova Scotia to complete her clinical residency. She graduated with her Diploma in TCM Acupuncture in 2025 and is now a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) with the CTCMPAO in Ontario.
As a single mother who raised her daughter while building businesses and studying medicine, Julia brings both empathy and strength to her work. Her approach is grounded in the belief that healing has the power to transform not only physical symptoms, but the way we move through life. She is passionate about helping clients reduce pain, restore vitality, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with themselves through thoughtful, individualized care.
Outside of the clinic, Julia enjoys strength training, yoga, hiking, and spending time in nature, whether along the ocean shore or deep in the forest. She believes that when people feel well, supported, and empowered in their bodies, they carry that light outward into their families, communities, and the world around them.
