Breastfeeding and Infant Feeding Support

Heidi Reynolds, RN, IBCLC, Lactation Consultant

I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing with an Honors Distinction from the University of Western Ontario in 2012. With a passion for perinatal health, I began my career as a nurse in the Obstetrical Care Unit at London Health Sciences Centre. In 2015, I had my first baby and we faced all kinds of breastfeeding challenges. With the support of an amazing village, including a couple of wonderfully skilled lactation consultants, we came to find out our son had a significant tongue tie. This inspired my own career shift into lactation consulting. In 2018, I became designated as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). With a special interest in tethered oral tissues (aka tongue & lip ties), I have been dedicated to supporting families along their infant feeding journeys since!

As a mom of 3, I understand how challenging navigating infant feeding can sometimes be. From planning prenatally, to the early newborn days, to introducing solids, and beyond, I am happy to help you and your baby meet your unique needs.
