Carolyne Yeoman-McDonald, Yoga Team Lead
Carolyne is our lead yoga teacher here at The WOMB. A muma of 3; 2 of which were home births. After her first birth, she made education in health and wellness alternatives a priority. When she had her second daughter in 2009, she became a certified yoga teacher and from there helped her parents open up Radiant Health Yoga Studio. She has been supporting people through breathing and movement ever since.
It wasn’t until she started teaching yoga that she realized her birth experience was few and far between- something that women hoped for but rarely experienced. It became more and more apparent that there was a HUGE lack of support, information and resources and no tangible place to send mums to when it came to pre/postnatal care, so she began a Prenatal Yoga Circle.
That was in 2013, that class became a place for mums-to-be to connect, move and share. It opened them up to their options, giving them insight on the hidden gems of practitioners that were available within the community.
Later that year she took a weekend course in Doula education and a year later completed her 100hr Prenatal Yoga Certification. It was there she met Dr. Sinead Dufour, who she admires and has continued to train with over the years.
In 2015 she received her Pelvic Floor Trainer Certification with Bellies Inc. She continues to train and educate herself in Pelvic Health, and other modalities such as Movement and Trauma, Mindful Strength, Shamanic Healing and Yoga and The Facial System.
Being apart of The WOMB is a dream come true for Carolyne. She is beyond excited to be working alongside Dr. Pam Thornton, a huge mentor and leader in pre and postnatal health.
In the end, it’s not necessarily the type of birth you have that has a lasting impression… to know you had options and freedom of choice, that you were supported in your decisions and most importantly that you were heard and you were respected , that you were treated with care and compassion. This is of the utmost importance and lasts a lifetime. EVERY woman deserves this type of care.
Erin Miller, Pre and Postnatal Fitness & Yoga Instructor
Erin Miller brings her vast training experience and shares an eclectic mix of yoga & fitness methodologies. From the soft stylings of yin yoga stretches to the dynamic expressions of acrobatic inspired fitness, Erin will lead you on a journey of compassionate curiosity and joyful growth. Hold space for the “I’m Possible”
Working in the fitness & wellness industry over the last 13 years she noticed a huge variation of awareness and consideration addressing pelvic health. Hearing many stories from friends, students and colleagues (of all genders) suffering with the symptoms of pelvic dysfunction she was motivated to seek out a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and ongoing education. Exploring how pelvic health can be a fitness issue, how to be a better support system speaking openly and honestly has since become one of her many passions.
Amy Rohrer BAM & TYS, Pre and Postnatal Yoga Instructor, Nurtured Neuroscience Sleep Coach
Amy is a toddler mama, registered yoga teacher, Ayurvedic wellness counsellor, and certified Nurtured Neuroscience sleep coach who is deeply passionate about supporting women and families in slowing down, regulating their nervous systems, and finding joy in the simple, sacred moments of life.
Her 1-on-1 sleep coaching is rooted in the principles of nurtured neuroscience—a compassionate, evidence-informed approach inspired by the work of Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum. This method honors the connection between a child’s developing brain, their relationships, and their sleep patterns. Amy works with families to build responsive, emotionally attuned sleep routines that support healthy attachment and nervous system regulation—without resorting to traditional sleep training.
Her sleep coaching offers personalized support to help you:
Understand the science behind infant and child sleep
Build routines that align with your child’s emotional & neurological development
Respond to nighttime needs with confidence and connection
Reduce stress and sleep challenges gently, without override-based methods
As a registered yoga teacher with advanced certifications in therapeutic, trauma-informed, and pre/postnatal yoga, Amy brings a deep understanding of nervous system regulation, embodiment, and mindful parenting into all aspects of her work. Her training also includes Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga that emphasizes balance, nourishment, and seasonal living, as well as advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, a body-based approach to healing trauma and supporting nervous system resilience. She weaves all of these modalities into her work to support mamas and families in feeling safe, seen, and supported—both in their bodies and in their parenting.
The birth of her son in 2021 was her greatest initiation—deepening her commitment to honoring the wisdom of the body, the tenderness of motherhood, and the need for safe, supportive spaces in early parenting.
Whether she’s guiding a restorative yoga class, supporting a mother through bedtime struggles, or simply holding space for your exhaustion and hopes- Amy’s presence is gentle, empowering, and rooted in lived experience. She looks forward to supporting you on your journey to more restful nights rooted in neuroscience & intuition.
