Osteopathy
Jenna Speir, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Hi, I’m Jenna — a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School of Osteopathy. My passion lies in supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — a path that feels deeply personal to me as both a mother and a birth doula. My 5th and final year of school focused on osteopathic treatment for postpartum incontinence - reflecting my love for perinatal support.
With a background in massage therapy and yoga, I’ve always been fascinated by the body — how it moves, how it heals, and how everything is connected. Osteopathy feels like a natural extension of that curiosity and care. My approach is hands-on, gentle, and anatomy-focused, always working to understand what your body is telling us and how we can support it.
As a birth doula and manual osteopath, I love being able to walk with people through every step of their journey — from growing a baby, to welcoming them earth-side, to recovering and rebuilding in the postpartum season. I also love treating babies and the rest of the family — because when one part of the nest feels supported, the whole family thrives.
Whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, or simply in need of care, I’m honoured to support you.
Ariel Bering MOMSc., Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Ariel’s journey into Osteopathy began with her own treatment experience, where she witnessed immediate and effective results. Captivated by the philosophy of Osteopathy, she dedicated herself to helping others harness their body’s innate ability to achieve and maintain health.
Ariel is passionate about meeting people where they are and guiding them towards optimal health. She believes in empowering patients to understand the power of their bodies once restrictions are alleviated and the mechanisms of healing are liberated.
Ariel completed her training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in the spring of 2024, earning a Master’s in practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences. Her rigorous education included over 4,200 hours of supervised coursework and 1,000 hours of hands-on training in the student clinic. She is a professional member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA).
Driven by her deep respect and enthusiasm for Osteopathy, Ariel has returned to the academy as a teacher-in-training. This role allows her to refine her skills continuously, and contribute to the advancement of the profession by educating future osteopathic manual practitioners.
Ariel is currently on maternity leave.
