Tuesdays, 4 Weeks, In Person, In Studio

In this introductory class, students will build their understanding of yoga through physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques to direct energy flow (pranayama), and meditative practises. Emma focalizes a gentle and restorative approach to movement that integrates mindful awareness and emphasizes deep relaxation. Regardless of abilities or experience, embody a greater sense of flow, balance and peace on and beyond the mat!

Emma Hagen-Johnson, Yoga Instructor

Emma is a lover of movement and a devoted student to the journey of life! Working with the human body through the lens of expressive dance and yoga, Emma has a deep reverence for movement and its abilities to facilitate healing. Her teachings of Classical Hatha Yoga emphasize an expansion of awareness through physical postures, breathing techniques and meditative practises. Emma promotes accessible yoga that meets each student exactly where they are. She teaches from her own experience and guides students to make lasting connections within themselves. Each class encourages full integration of the body, mind and spirit, for healing on all levels.
